Steel Phalanx - Thorakitai with Chain Rifle
Thorakitai were a more heavily-armored soldier in ancient Greece that did not rely on rigid formations to fight effectively. In Infinity, they are one of the basic infantry of the Steel Phalanx of Aleph, and it is where the ASS can find many of their Specialist Troops. This one carries a Chain Rifle, and can be used as a regular grunt, a Forward Observer, or a Paramedic.

Steel Phalanx - Chandra Spec-Ops
The Infinity Spec-Ops models are great additions to any army. The represent a basic troop, but are in general a better or more characterful sculpt than the basic infantry of each faction. They come with a sprue of extra weapons, 2 head options, and can be used to stand in for almost any model in your army. This Chandra Spec-Ops represents a Thorakitai.
The white of the bases starts off by priming the base white. Shadows are added toward the center of the base with an airbrush, first with VGC Wolf Grey, then Ice Blue, and Finally Turquoise. Details are edged with White, and it is lined with VMC 051 Prussian Blue.

Steel Phalanx - Myrmidon Hacker
Rounding out the Enotomy of Myrmidons is the Hacker.
The silver bits in this Steel Phalanx army are painted the same way as the blacks are, but brought all the way up to white for highlights, and the highlights also take up more area than they do on the black. Then they are tinted with a mixture of P3 Cygnar Blue Base and VGC Turquoise. So:
Black, 166 Dark Grey, 160 Neutral Grey, 155 Light Grey, White; P3 Cygnar Blue Base + VGC Turquoise

Steel Phalanx - Myrmidon Officer
Leading the Fire Team of Myrmidons is the Myrmidon Officer. This model has the Chain of Command ability, so if Achilles goes down, the army will still not be in Loss of Lieutenant.
Steel Phalanx Fire Teams can be formed of soldiers of the same type, but must have a figure with the Enomotarchos skill to form and lead them. In ancient Greece, an Enomotarch was the leader of a sworn band of soldiers called an Enomoty. While historically a band of 25 to 36 Spartans, in the Steel Phalanx they can be a group of 3 or 4.
Her blue hair is based with VMC 050 Dark Prussian Blue, then highlighted with 053 Dark Blue <> VGC Ice Blue <> White.

Steel Phalanx - Myrmidon with Boarding Shotgun
Aleph, the AI, does not use actual people to fight its battles; it instead uses sophisticated artificial constructs that appear human, outfitted with a sliver of its own personality and programming. This Myrmidon's brain can be saved and downloaded into new host bodies over and over again, creating eternal warriors. This one is armed with a Boarding Shotgun, but as long as you are clear with your opponent before the game starts, it can "count as" any weapon you need it to be. Most people are pretty cool with stuff like that in Infinity.
The black parts of these Steel Phalanx models are naturally based with Black, then highlighted with VMC 166 Dark Grey, 160 Neutral Grey, 155 Light Grey, and White. I will mix shades in-between colors as needed for a smooth transition.

Steel Phalanx - Myrmidon with Chain Rifle
The Myrmidons are warriors trained by Achilles, and follow him into battle with unwavering loyalty, just as in Homer's Iliad. This one is armed with a Chain Rifle, which, you know, was definitely NOT in The Iliad.
The white parts on all of these models use only three paints - VGC Wolf Grey, Sombre Grey and White. I base coat with the Sombre Grey (which is surprisingly good at coverage, even over black), shade it with the Wolf Grey, and highlight with white, mixing intermediate shades as necessary for smooth transitions.

Steel Phalanx - Achilles
The Steel Phalanx, or Assault Sub-Section, is a sectorial army of Aleph in Infinity: The Game. The army list is themed around Homeric heroes of legend. The leader of this merry band is Achilles - a human-sized TAG that will wreck your face off.
The main armor color of purple seen throughout the army is based with VMC 047 Violet, then highlighted with 046 Blue Violet <> White. It is shaded with a mix of 047 Violet and Black, lined with RMS Violet Liner and edged with White.
The muscle fiber-bundles were shaded and tinted with Turquoise Ink.
Achilles' blonde hair was based VMC 153 Beige Brown, then highlighted with 119 Green Ochre, 125 Desert Yellow, 123 Dark Sand, 007 Pale Sand and 005 Ivory. Shadows and lining were done with 144 Camo Pale Violet Brown.
