Infinity - Steel Phalanx: Scylla

Scylla is one of the newest releases for the Steel Phalanx. She is a hacker, but only WIP 13 and doesn't have the ODD protection that most of the Phalanx enjoys. Great model, though.

The Magenta of the Swords and on the Bases were painted with the same colors. Based with VMC 041 Sunset Red, shadows are applied with P3 Murderous Magenta. White is then added to the Sunset Red for successive highlights.

Infinity - Steel Phalanx: Phoenix

Phoenix carries a Heavy Rocket Launcher, which fires two big templates worth of fire damage. Or three, when he is accompanied by a Myrmidon Fireteam. He's dumb, and I hate him.

The Black is of course based Black. Highlights are added with VMC 166 Dark Grey, 160 Neutral Grey, 155 Light Grey, and White.

The silver parts are painted with the same colors, but the highlights simply take up more surface area, resulting in a lighter color. Then they are glazed with a little bit of P3 Cygnar Highlight.

Infinity - Steel Phalanx: Netrods

Netrods are AI Beacons. They are points-cheap, and provide an order which is a fantastic balance for the high-priced Phalanx models. They drop in before the battle and then can't move, so hopefully you stick the landing and they don't scatter in front of all the enemy guns.

Infinity - Steel Phalanx: Machaon

Machaon is an Aleph Doctor, and you need specialists to achieve objectives in ITS Missions. Like Eudoros, he has Enomotarchos, so he too can be accompanied by a fireteam of Myrmidons. Like most of the Steel Phalanx, he has great survivability thanks to his Optical Disruption Device, No Wound Incapacitation, decent armor, and Zero-V smoke to cover his advance. With WIP 15, he will achieve objectives with ease.

The white cloth is based with VGC Wolf Grey. Shadows are added adding Sombre Grey to the Wolf Grey in increasing amounts. Highlights then are applied using Wolf Grey <> White.

Infinity - Steel Phalanx: Eudoros

Eudoros can lead a fireteam of Myrmidons thanks to his Fireteam: Enomotarchos rule. He's a nifty toolbox with ODD and ARM 3 to keep him upright (and essentially 2 Wounds), a MK 12 for damage output and Zero-V Smoke Grenades to keep his team safe on their approach. Get too close, and he can be B2 in close combat thanks to Martial Arts Level 4, at CC 21 with a DA CCW.

The Flesh is based with VMC 017 Basic Skintone. This is shaded with translucent glazes of a mix of 132 Brown Sand and 047 Violet. Intermediate transitions can be done mixing Basic Skintone into that mix. Highlights are done by adding 006 Light Flesh, and then 005 Ivory into the 017 Basic Skintone.
